Workflow in PS2010 How to prevent automatic project checkout in a stage

Hello group,

we found out that the SetProjectStage activity automatically checks-out the project for the initiator of the workflow on entering that activity and checks-in the project when leaving that activity.

1. How can I prevent that automatic check-out in SetProjectStage on purpose, e.g. by code or something?

2. When I change the project owner between two stages (e.g. named StageA and StageB), how can I let the second SetProjectStage activity check-out the project for the new owner instead for the workflow initiator?
