I have to transfer project time registration data from a legacy system to the corresponding task assignments in the project server. The solution seems to be straight forward:
Just write the registration data to the field ASSN_ACT_WORK of the assignment and send the changed project data set for update to the project server.
In general the procedere works but there is an unpleasant effect:
When reading back the project data set after update, the formerly written values were more or less changed by the server. The largest deviation observed up to now is from 600,000 (i.e. 10 hours) to 599,370.
Has anybody observed such an effect?
Is there a PSI programming procedure that the server will maintain the written values?
