Sorting in Project Centre View

Hi All,

I have created a Project Custom Field with a lookUp values one value starts with 'A' & and the Other value with 'B'.

And also I have created the Project Centre View with groupby the Custom lookup field.

Problem

I am facing here is 'A' is appearing first and the 'B' next in an alphabetical order,but in my scenario the order should be 'B' and then 'A'.

I tried following:

1. In View for the specific grouping I set the sorting as Descending Order (Problem Persists)
2. I modified the Custom field value by '1.B' & '2.A' (Still the Problem Persists )

Please help me out in this.
