How do I Sort the Approval center JSGrid by some column , prgramatically?[persist the sorting]

Hi All,

I want the approval center requests(Timesheets submitted)  in PWA 2010 should be sorted based on Resource name(by default).

Existing Scenario: 

             1. I go to Approval center , requests are not in sorted order.

             2. I sort the requestes by 'Resource Name'

             3. I approve or reject some Timesheet(s) submitted.

             4. Now approval center shows the remaining requests, But NOT in Sorted Order.[which I did in step 2]

Expected behavior:

           As like in Project center or any other page that uses grid, the grid should maintain/remember the sort selection. [persist the sorting done on that page by the user]

Doubts:

          1. Is there any settings that can solve this sorting issue?

          2. How do I sort the rows in the grid by Resource name column(or any other column)?

         3. I see that HandleSort Eventhandler is there with the Grid Satellite, But how can we raise the sort event manually?

Please let me know if anyone had fixed this issue already/ working on / ideas to explore on this....
