How to create approval activity in PS workflow.

Hi guys,

I've created a simple workflow using VS, I don't find any resource online from where I can study about using activities. I wanted to send for approval once user submit, I'm unable to find any documentation. My simple requirement is just to send a request for approval to a user/group, I need to know which activity should I use and how to use it.
