project 2010 before task delete event not working as expected

Hi all,

In my project app , when i handle the event before_task_delete  i'm doing e.cancel = true  in order to cancel the delete operation.

The problem is that project still deletes the task .

Is this a bug in project 2010? anyone can suggest what can be the problem? i don't want project to delete the task.
