I am working on implementation of a Team Assignment requirement in MS Project Server 2010. The requirement is that a Task will be assigned to the Team Manager. Team Manager will then re-assign the task to one of the Team Members. Team Manager later on can re-assign the same task to another Team Member, if the earlier Team Member is unable to complete the Task.
I checked the Team Assignment Pool feature of Project Server. I have created a Resource for Team Assignment Pool and set the Assignment Owner for the resource as the Team Leader. All the team members have been marked as a part of Team. Whenever a Task is assigned to Pool resource, be default it is assigned to the Team Leader. However, Team Leader is not able to re-assign the Task to other team members. Team Member can request for Task assignment though.
I am looking for help to customize the Team Assignment feature in Project Server to let the Team Manager reassign the Team Tasks to other members in the Team. Any help in this regard will be appreciated.
