Cannot run macros stored in Global.MPT from Quick Access Toolbar button Project 2010 Pro but can from Macro Dialog

Hi,

Having a weird issue where I cannot run / initiate a macro that is stored in my Project Pro 2010 Global.MPT file when I assign that macro to a button on the Quick Access Toolbar or from a button assigned to it on the ribbon. 

I can however, run macros stored in my Global.MPT by going to the Developer ribbon, View Macros dialog or by opening the VBA Editor directly and running it that way. Behavior persists with other Macro Security levels (you must explicitly enable to run macros or automatically allow to run without restriction). 

We are using Project 2010 Professional connected to Project Server. 

Any insight from anyone who has had similar experience would be appreciated.
