Hi,
Have Microsoft ever considered to build a open source application hub for their platforms? Idea is to create a hub which can be run on Windows, Windows mobile and in Xbox to run open source application create by the developers. It will be like a emulator to run open source application across different platforms. In that way Microsoft can grow their app store in quantity with great useful apps. I'm just wondering if there any developer has a idea of how to do it. If Microsoft don't wants to work on this maybe someone should do it. I don't know how to make computer program, so if anyone interested in this topic please start commenting right now.
*Note: I'm not talking about virtual emulators like VMWare. It will be a background service module to run applications without a window for the emulator itself.
