Hi all,
i have a complex workflow setup with 11 stages. Everything is fine exept we are facing sometime the issue of workflow not moving on after user submit and the only workaround i found is to check out check-in the project then workflow will continue processing. i narrowed it down to the action: Set Project Field executed after submit (or even before). Below is the logic i am using in every stage and where we were facing the issue, however not on every run:
- Set Project Stage Status: WorkflowProcessing with a custom message "Please Wait while workflow is processing"
- Set Project Field: set some field value (HANGS HERE ONLY WAY TO MOVE IS CHECK OUT CHECK IN)
- Set Project Stage Status: WaitingForInput with a custom message "Please submit"
- Wait For Project Event: wait for submit
-Set Project Stage Status: WorkflowProcessing with a custom message "Workflow is processing your submitted values"
-Set Project Field : set some other field value.(HANGS HERE ONLY WAY TO MOVE IS CHECK OUT CHECK IN)
-Set Project Field: set another field value.(HANGS HERE ONLY WAY TO MOVE IS CHECK OUT CHECK IN)
- log message to workflow history
End of stage.
All the stages are set with Project Check in is Required option.
Project Server is updated with the last CU (but not SP1).
Anyone faced this issue ?? Is there anything wrong with my workflow?maybe i am using the worklow stage status action wrongly ... ?
