VBA (macro) how to detect when a sync is being executed to SharePoint task list?

Hello,

Is there some kind of event where we can see when an mpp file has completed the sync process to a SharePoint task list?

Reason why we need this is because syncing updates a GUID in SharePoint and in the mpp file.
If the user fails to save the mpp file, then the GUIDs will become different (new one in SharePoint, old one in mpp), and the next synchronisation will fail.

If we are able to detect when the user runs a sync, then we can do an auto-save action once the sync has completed to avoid this problem.

If it doesn't exist in MS Project Professional 2010, then does it exist in MS Project Professional 2013 maybe?
