I created a PWA site using Project Server 2010. I could access the PWA site locally on the server's browser(viahttp://[localhost:portnumber]/PWA). But since the server doesnt have Microsoft Project professional installed, I have to access the PWA site from my PC(viahttp://[localhost:portnumber]/PWA), with the necessary firewall ports opened. But i get the 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage' error. I tried accessing the same PWA site from another server (within the same subnet) and got the same error too. Since the firewall ports (between servers) in the same subnet are all opened, it could not be due to firewall port issue. Hence my windows system administrator told me that it must be due to some services not running. He is not SharePoint trained.
Note that for other normal sharepoint sites, such as from port 80, i have no problem acessing from my PC.
I could not find any meaningful errors from Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\Logs.
What could it be due to ? Thanks.
