Furstrating Status Manager and Project Start Date

Hi,

I have a Scenario:

I have an EPT which is associated with the MSP Template and it has a start date e.g. 13-10-2012 and using PSI i am creating the project from my custom webpart, in that webpart i am setting the project start date which is getting updated with the PROJ_INFO_START_DATE and project is successfully created but with the same dates of the Template, it does not take my Project Start date from the custom webpart and same happens for the status manager it takes the system account.

During the code i have used the network credentials of system account if i dont do this, i am not able to create the project, one of the reason i feel is this may be.... any how time being i am setting the Start Date of the project after i created the project using PSI.

Any suggestions??
